In a custom assessment, can we include an introduction or context explaining the purpose of the survey? What are the best practices for adding this information?

The best practice for adding an introduction to the assessment is to start with an "Introduction" page.
To implement this:

Update the Page 1 title to "Introduction".
Add a brief introduction in the Page Description field.
