Yes, the Mapped Site field is mandatory, but there are some exceptions:
Customer-provided parts: If the part is defined in the CDIF before the assessment was launched, the Mapped Site field is mandatory.
Customer-provided parts defined within 90 days of assessment launched: If the part is defined in the CDIF but after the assessment was launched then in this case, the Mapped Site field is not mandatory, so it becomes optional for the supplier to provide the site mapping for these parts. This could explain why the Mapped Site column is left blank in the submitted assessment.
Supplier-provided parts: These parts will appear in the Part-Site Map tab as well, but the site mapping is not required for these rows to be validated.
