Here are some of the highlights of August 2023 release!

ENHANCEMENTS
1. MOBILE – New Login screens have been introduced:

Users will be able to enter the username and password on the same screen.

2. CDIF EXPRESS

Supports High volume data ingestion - Support up to 2x the average data loaded today and up to 1.5x the maximum number of suppliers loaded today. Actual data load size will depend on the totality of all data in the CDIF (sites, parts, BoM, etc.).
Reduced overall data load time –
- Performance improvement – On average, total data load time may be reduced by up to 70%. Actual data load times will depend on the size of data being uploaded, other customers simultaneously loading data, and other loads present on the system at the time of CDIF load.
- Efficiency improvement/time saving by improving data load process, Incremental data load and append functionalities for all tabs
Incremental Data Load
- Presently data is loaded only when data is error free, as per enhancement error free data will be added or updated.
- Data load type is selected as “Delete and load” and if there are errors in specific tab related to specific supplier/site then correct data will be uploaded and data related to supplier and site present in the system will be retained in order to retain the supplier provided data provided through assessments.
- Data errors in validation reports can be corrected and reloaded again.
Rationalize Data Load template
- Many columns are not used for loading data, so it creates confusion while filling data. In enhanced template only the required and necessary columns are available. Please refer to the table below for the columns that have been removed.

Append - Add or update data (Data load from Portal – Q3) (Automation – Q4)
- Present data load supports addition or update of data only for Suppliers and Sourcing, Enhanced data load will support all addition and updating all tabs.
- Presently entity data points provided gets added and data points which are not provided remains as is in the application, it becomes challenging to remove the data. In enhanced append, an entire row is updated which gives the ability to remove incorrect data for a specific entity.
Data Load Template will accept the country name as “Czech.”
External Site ID column has been added in the Sites tab in the Data Load template.
Sub Tier Data Load Optimization -
- Improved accuracy in sub tier data load
- Users will be able to load Contacts, Sites and Sub tier suppliers at respective tiers by referring to non-normalized names.
Custom Risk Scores will now accept the decimal values as well.
Material Flow Error Optimization – Users would see less errors and will be able to load the Material Flow

Following unused and redundant columns from the Data Load file template are removed.
