  • The Rare Earth Lens is a material-based filter available within the Autonomous Mapping (AM) feature in the Supply Chain Map. It helps identify suppliers and components that may have exposure to rare earth materials within the supply chain.

  • Access Path:
  • Hamburger Menu → My Supply Chain → Supply Chain Network → Supply Chain Map → Select Rare Earth Lens

  • Key Functionality:
    • Highlights suppliers associated with rare earth materials
    • These suppliers are marked with a dotted-circle icon next to the supplier name
    • Provides visibility at both:
    • Supplier level
    • Part/component level
    • Enables drill-down from the Supply Chain Map for detailed analysis
    • Helps identify components contributing to rare earth exposure
  • Business Value:
    • Improves visibility into supply chain dependency on rare earth materials
    • Supports better risk analysis related to:
      • Sourcing risks
      • Geopolitical exposure
      • Supply chain concentration risks
