Why am I not receiving the password reset email?

  • There are several common reasons why you may not be receiving the password reset email from the Resilinc portal:
  • Incorrect Username: You must enter your exact username (not your email address) when requesting a password reset. If the username entered does not exist in the system, no email will be sent, and an error message will be displayed.
  • SSO-Enabled Organization: If your organization uses Single Sign-On (SSO) to access Resilinc, the standard "Forgot Password" feature will not work. In this case, password resets are managed by your organization's internal IT team, not by Resilinc. You should contact your IT administrator to reset your credentials.
  • Inactive or Blocked Account: If your account has been deactivated or blocked (for example, due to multiple failed login attempts), the password reset email cannot be sent. You will need to have an administrator reactivate your account first.
  • Email in Spam/Junk Folder: The password reset email is sent from a Resilinc registration address. Please check your spam, junk, or quarantine folders for the email.
  • Expired Link: If you previously received a password reset email but the link no longer works, note that the reset link is valid for 24 hours only. After that, you will need to request a new one by clicking the "Forgot Password" button on the Resilinc login page again.
  • To request a fresh password reset link, navigate to the Resilinc login page, click "Forgot Password," enter your username, complete the captcha, and click "Recover Password."
