Here's a quick overview of the difference between Roles and Licenses in Resilinc:

  • Licenses – Control what you can access.
Licenses determine the level of access a user has to various Resilinc modules. Users can only access functionalities if the corresponding licenses are provided.
  • Available licenses include: Your level of access is based on subscription your company has purchased)

Data Load, What-If, Event War Room, Reports and Dashboards, Workflows, API Access, Risk Mitigation, Risk Prioritization, Supply Chain Visibility Survey, BCP, Custom Survey, Autonomous Mapping, Disruption Agent, Tariff Agent, UFLPA Agent.

  • There are two levels of access:
    • View Only License: Provides read-only access. Users can view data but cannot make changes.
    • Collaborate License: Provides full access to collaborate, update information, respond to surveys, upload data, etc.
  • Roles – Control what actions you can perform
Roles define the type of actions a user can perform within licensed modules.
  • Supported roles include:

Commodity Manager, Company Admin, Compliance Manager, Event Lead, Executive, Risk Lead.

  • Company Admin Role: Full control over user management, permission assignment, and certain configuration settings.

Standard/User Roles: Allow usage of features based on assigned licenses (e.g., Risk Lead for risk analysis).
