How often are risk scores recalculated in the platform?

Risk scores in the Resilinc platform are recalculated at different frequencies depending on the type of score and what triggers the update:

  • After a CDIF upload: No action is required. The system automatically recalculates and updates scores once the CDIF is processed. Updated scores typically appear on the portal within 8-10 hours, though this may vary based on the number of CDIFs in the queue.
  • Using the "Recalculate Scores Now" button (available on the Risk Settings page): This manually triggers a new recalculation job. Each click creates a fresh job using the latest configuration settings at that time. Allow up to 24 hours for updated scores to appear, especially during high-volume periods or large CDIF loads. The button will temporarily disable after clicking; refreshing the page re-enables it.
  • For 3rd party API-integrated risk scores: These refresh automatically every 15 days with no manual action required.
  • For location-based risk scores provided by Resilinc:
    • Natural Disaster Risk Scores are updated once a year.
    • Macroeconomic Risk Scores are updated once every quarter.
    • Geopolitical Risk Scores are updated once every quarter.
    • Note: For newly added sites, location risk scores can take up to 48 hours to first appear on the platform.
  • For Custom Risk Scores via the dashboard: Custom risk scores can also be updated directly through the "Update Company Custom Generated Scores" dashboard (Reports & Analytics > Dashboards), without a CDIF upload. After updating scores in the dashboard, click "Recalculate Scores Now" from Risk Settings to trigger recalculation. Please note: if a CDIF containing different custom risk score values is uploaded afterwards, it will overwrite the scores updated via the dashboard.
