  • Location scores are the scores that are updated at site level.
  • Resilinc provided three standard location scores viz. Macroeconomic, Geopolitical and Natural Disaster Scores.

  1. Macroeconomic Risk: This is arrived at based on the Country where the Site is located. Macroeconomic risk considers a series of macroeconomic variables of a structural rather than a cyclical nature. Macroeconomic risk scores are updated once every quarter.
  2. Geopolitical Risk: This is arrived at based on the Country where the Site is located. The Geopolitical risk evaluates a range of political factors relating to political stability and effectiveness that could affect a country’s ability and/or commitment to service its debt obligations and/or cause turbulence in the foreign exchange market. Geopolitical risk scores are updated once every quarter.
  3. Natural Disaster Risk: This is arrived at based on the actual geo-location (Latitude, Longitude) of the site is located at. To calculate natural disaster risk scores, we will use earthquake, flood, hurricane, and volcano maps in parallel to create regional boxes that contain consistent risk scores across the four factors. Natural disaster risk scores are updated once a year.

  • For any new site additions the score can take upto 48 hours to get updated on the Resilinc system.
