- Effective management of User Defined Attributes (UDAs) in Resilinc begins with correct data preparation and ensuring your upload file meets system requirements.
- Start by verifying that your Customer Data Input File (CDIF) includes the necessary tabs—specifically, the Suppliers and Sites tabs—each containing their mandatory columns: Supplier Name in the Suppliers tab and Site Name in the Sites tab.
- Only Microsoft Excel files in .xlsx or .xlsm format are supported for uploads; attempting to upload unsupported formats such as .txt files will cause failures.
- For UDAs to be recognized and mapped correctly, each UDA column must start with the prefix “UDA_” (note that this is case sensitive), and only certain special characters—underscore (_), at (@), and hyphen (-)—are allowed in column names. Avoid using periods (.) or other unsupported characters to prevent errors.
- If you continue to encounter issues with UDA mapping or ingestion after following these recommendations, reach out to Resilinc Technical Support at customersupport@resilinc.ai, your Implementation Consultant, or your Customer Success Manager for further assistance.
