- To improve data protection and user access control, Resilinc has introduced a new feature called "Supplier Data Security – Domain & User Management" for supplier organizations on the Resilinc platform.
- This feature allows supplier organizations to manage email domains and user access more effectively. Here’s a detailed overview of how it works:
- Organizational Acknowledgment:
Suppliers are now required to provide a one-time organizational acknowledgment related to data security. This is applicable only to suppliers.
- Organizational Acknowledgment:
- Updated ‘Contacts’ Tab:
The ‘Contacts’ tab on the supplier portal has been enhanced. Users with the ‘Crisis Manager’ role now have the authority to block specific domains and/or individual email IDs that are not associated with their organization. - Managing Blocked Users:
A new ‘Blocked’ sub-tab is now available within the ‘Contacts’ tab. This section enables Crisis Managers to view all users who have been blocked within their organization and to restore access if necessary.
- Updated ‘Contacts’ Tab:
-
- Also, an email can be sent to customersupport@resilinc.ai for requesting to unblock the user.
- Impact of Blocking:
Users marked with a ‘Blocked’ status will no longer be able to access any Resilinc pages.
These users cannot be added by either suppliers or customers through any method on the platform.
Customers will be notified via email if any supplier users associated with their organization are blocked or deactivated on a given day. - SCV Assessment Integration:
A ‘View blocked users’ button is now present on the Supply Chain Visibility (SCV) assessment response page.
This allows users to download a list of blocked users from the supplier organization for that specific assessment.
- This feature provides better control and visibility into who can access supplier data and interact with the Resilinc platform, reinforcing organizational security measures.
