As a user of the Resilinc Portal, it is important to understand the purpose of the scores at various locations within the portal. Below are some frequently visited webpages where the users can leverage risk scores:

Reports & Dashboards

Users can access multiple preset reports and dashboards in the Resilinc platform to analyze risk scores at different levels such as Partner, Site, Parts, Products and Categories. These dashboards provide in depth analysis, graphical representations, and identification of top supply chain risks. Below is a list of some useful dashboards:

Use Case/ Workflow: Partner Dashboard

One of the ways to look at high risk suppliers is using the supplier/partner dashboard. Category leads and risk managers can get a view into overall supplier resiliency risk along with all of the risk factors contributing to the resiliency risk score.

Using the global filters available on the dashboard, user can filter data for their relevant categories, business units, products, or even by selecting partner names. The preferred view can be saved for future use in the dashboard.

Using the graphs and data tables on the dashboard users can filter suppliers with either high resiliency risk scores or any available risk factors that need to be monitored. In the above table, supplier MALMSTM has a higher resiliency risk score of 6.24 which is highlighted in red font. It is important to determine the factors that contribute to the high-risk scores. Using the same grid one can understand there are 2 factors: Recovery risk and Resilinc geopolitical risk which are higher compared to the other factors.

Users can deep dive into the supplier profile by clicking on the supplier’s name which opens a supplier profile page with all information available for the supplier in the customer portal. Since both high-risk factors (Recovery risk & Resilinc geopolitical risk) are associated with site risk scores, users need to review recovery risk & Resilinc geopolitical risk scores for all supplier sites to identify which sites are high on both identified factors. In the previously mentioned supplier case, out of a total 19 sites for MALMSTM, 3 sites were found to be high risk. Using this workflow, users can drill down and discover the exact risk areas which require attention and formulate mitigation steps. User profile dashboards include all of the supplier information in different tabs such as Sites, Events, Assessment, Risk analytics, Sub-tier, BCP Analytics etc.

Custom assessment risk scores – e.g., Business Continuity Plan Assessment

Every custom assessment in Resilinc generates a risk score which indicates the supplier’s or site’s preparedness for that selected assessment criteria. Customers have the option to customize any type of assessments or choose from readily available assessments from the Resilinc library and launch it to the suppliers to collect their responses. Custom assessments serve two purposes: they collect required supplier data as well as generate risk scores based on the supplier responses. Risk scores from custom assessments are added to the different reports and dashboards in Resilinc and can also be viewed in a dedicated dashboard which monitors progress of each custom assessment.

One of the most common examples of the custom assessments is the Business Continuity Plan assessment which requires suppliers to confirm their processes and steps they have taken to ensure continuity in extreme situations. Below is an example of the stock “Analyze BCP” dashboard, and its features.

In the above screenshot, the highlighted supplier, KTHONG FWM, has answered the Business Continuity Plan assessment and based on the responses the overall BCP score is 3.72. The table also shows the risk score for all of the sections within the BCP assessment which makes it easier for users to identify high risk areas by highlighting them in red. The risk team can now review the high-risk sections and supplier responses by going into “View Response” as shown below.

For supplier KTHONG FWM, the sectional scores for two of its sections are high - Business Continuity Management (9.91) and Emergency Response & Crisis Management (6.36).

It is imperative to review the responses that make these section high risk and upon checking we see that question numbers 10, 11, 12, 15 & 16 are answered negatively based on the BCP standards. The risk team can share their observations with the Category leads and have them initiate discussion with their suppliers about these high-risk areas. As a mitigation process, the category lead can have a conversation with suppliers to set up action plans and re-assess the suppliers after the agreed duration to ensure the BCP standards are met by the supplier. Risk teams can have a similar approach towards the custom assessments.

In case of custom assessments, customers can assign weights to important sections of the assessments which creates accurate scores for each section as well as the overall assessment.

Risk score in WarRoom

Resiliency risk scores within the WarRoom on both mobile and desktop platforms can be used for quick reference during the event mitigation process. Resiliency scores can act as a reference point for overall risk associated with suppliers, sites, customer parts and products. During time sensitive situations, risk teams need to make data based decisions on situations that have been properly assessed. Since suppliers may not always be responsive towards event confirmation requests, suppliers or sites with high resiliency risk scores can be given higher priority when initiating mitigation plans.

Analyze Risk

The user can access 'Analyze Risk' through the left-side hamburger menu. In the 'Analyze Risk' section, we display risk scores at various levels, including:

Supplier

Categories

Customer Parts

Sites

Products

Supplier Parts

Within the 'Analyze Risk' section, we present risk score information in the form of graphical representation. Please refer to the example below for the Supplier level risk score.
