Bringing new risk factors in Resilinc

There are a few different ways customers can bring in new risk scores in Resilinc:

3rd party API – Resilinc has strategic partnerships with multiple 3rd party risk score providers which allows customers to bring risk score data from these sources in to the Resilinc platform using API integration. Customers can leverage their existing subscriptions with these 3rd party sources or set up a new subscription.

3rd party risk score APIs have several benefits, including:

  • API integration ensures the risk scores are always updated in Resilinc platform, (update frequency every 15 days)
  • Avoids any manual intervention required to refresh risk scores periodically.
  • Reduces the use of multiple applications as users can access updated 3rd party data in Resilinc.
  • Provides access to dedicated dashboards to analyze 3rd party risk scores.

Adding risk scores in the CDIF – with the manual data load option, users can bring in risk scores, supplier KPI’s or any operational parameters important for the customer organization to monitor. Standard Customer Data Input File (CDIF) offers the ability to upload risk scores at both the supplier and part levels.

There are a few important considerations with manually added scores:

  • Resilinc supports a specific risk score scale, 1-10 (1- lowest & 10-highest) which may not be the same for all the risk scores. Customers manually need to convert the scores into acceptable scale before loading it in the platform. E.g., if user wishes to add supplier performance KPI or rating which is A, A+, B, B+ etc. or between 1-100, such scores need to be normalized into a 1-10 scale.
  • Users must manually update the scores every time there is a change.
  • With manual intervention, the potential for errors is present.
  • Only partner & part level scores can be uploaded using the CDIF. Scores at the site level require an API.
