Which API endpoint helps retrieve the source of a site, and how is the source determined when a site is linked to both a Customer and a Partner?

To identify the source of a site, the correct API to use is the site_details endpoint. Below is a breakdown of how the source is determined, and which endpoints are relevant:

site_details API Endpoint – Retrieve the Source of a Site

This is the correct API to determine the origin or source of a site.
The source field in the response indicates:
Customer – if the site is Provided from the customer through the CDIF.
Partner – if the site is provided from the partner through SCV.

partner_sites API Endpoint – Not for Site Source

This endpoint reflects the source of Partners, not Sites.
It should not be used to determine the source of the site.

Note – If the site is provided from both a customer and a partner (Partner takes precedence in this case).
