Yes. Category Managers (CMs) and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) users can configure their personal preferences to receive WarRoom alerts only for specific part categories.

This helps users focus on relevant supplier risk events while minimizing unnecessary notifications.

How to Configure Category-Specific WarRoom Notifications

  • Open the Resilinc portal.
  • Navigate to Preference Settings using the profile icon on the left sidebar.
    • Under the Basic section:
    • Locate the Select Part Category field.
    • Choose the required category (for example, Electronic Components).

Configuring Notification Frequency

  • To further reduce notification noise, users can configure the WarRoom notification frequency:
  • Navigate to Notification Settings.
    • Select the preferred notification frequency:
    • Live Notifications
    • Daily Digest
    • Weekly Digest

Filtering Notifications by Severity

  • Users can also filter notifications based on event severity levels, such as:
  • High
  • Severe

This ensures users receive alerts only for significant risk events related to the selected category.

Important Dependency: Part Mapping Requirement

WarRoom notifications are generated only for parts that are mapped to supplier sites.

    If:

  • The selected category does not contain mapped parts, or
  • The parts are not associated with supplier sites,

then WarRoom notifications may not be triggered even if the category is selected in preferences.

Recommended Best Practice

  • To achieve targeted and meaningful alerts:
  • Configure only the required part categories
  • Use severity filtering to reduce noise
  • Select digest-based notifications if fewer alerts are preferred
  • Ensure parts are properly mapped to supplier sites
