What is Resilinc Power BI API connector? How to integrate Resilinc’s REST APIs with Power BI?

• The Resilinc Power BI Connector integrates Resilinc’s REST APIs directly into Power BI, making it easier for customers to access and use Resilinc data within their Power BI workspaces without needing to configure individual APIs.
• The connector supports API key based authentication, scheduled data refreshes, and compatibility with Power BI’s data gateway.
• Available to all customers with an active Resilinc REST API subscription, this connector enables seamless data analysis and reporting.

The steps involved are:

1. Access the Resilinc REST API.
2. Download the Power BI Connector from the Resilinc portal.
3. Configure the connector by following the setup instructions to integrate it with your Power BI workspace. You would be able to access the user guide by clicking on the "View User Guide" link available on the same page. It will redirect you to the Resilinc Academy and post successful log in you will be able to access it. 
4. Locate the Power BI Connector on the API page and configure.

Before using the Resilinc Power BI Connector, ensure you have the following: 

1. Power BI Desktop is installed.
2. The Resilinc Power BI Connector file is available.
3. A Personal/Standard Data Gateway is set up (required for cloud services).
4. A valid API key for Resilinc REST APIs authentication
