What is the WarRoom Summary tab on the Category Listing page and what information does it provide?

  • The WarRoom Summary tab under the Categories section provides a consolidated view of WarRooms impacting each category. It is designed to help users assess and track the risk landscape at the category level across all active and historical WarRooms.
  • Access Path on Portal

    • Homepage → Categories → WarRoom Summary

 

 

Column Name

Description

Category

Displays the impacted category name

Title

WarRoom title summarizing the disruption or risk event

Event Description

Description of the event affecting the supply chain

Created Date

Date when the WarRoom was created

WarRoom Updated Date

Date of the most recent update to the WarRoom

Severity

Indicates the urgency level (Low, Medium, High)

Status

Shows WarRoom state (e.g., New, Assessing, Resolved)

# Suppliers

Number of impacted suppliers under the category

# Sites

Number of impacted supplier sites

# Parts

Count of impacted parts

# Products

Count of impacted products

Max Downtime (Weeks)

Maximum downtime reported (in weeks)

Confirmed Revenue Impact

Whether revenue impact has been confirmed

Resiliency Risk

Average risk score of affected suppliers in the category

Supplier Type

Categorizes suppliers (Customer, Component, Indirect Procurement, etc.)

Data Source

Origin of data (typically "Customer")

Spend

Annual spend value related to the WarRoom

Revenue at Risk

Revenue potentially at risk due to the disruption

Sourcing

Shows if parts are Single, Sole, or Multi Sourced

  • At the top of the page, a message indicates: "You are viewing WarRooms that were created/updated in the last 90 days." This means the table only displays WarRooms that have been either created or updated within the past 90 days, ensuring the focus remains on recent or ongoing disruptions.
  • User can also click on the Category name in the Category column to navigate to the Category Details page for further insights. Similarly, by clicking on the WarRoom title, user will navigate to the respective WarRoom details page for deeper analysis and response actions.
  • Additional Features
    • Filters (Left Sidebar): The filter panel allows users to narrow down WarRoom data. It is divided into three main sections:
      1. Basic Filters:
        • Supplier – Filter WarRooms by supplier
        • Part Category – View WarRooms grouped by part category
        • Country Sites – Filter based on supplier site locations
      2. Product Family Filters:
        • Filter data based on specific product families
      3. User Defined Attributes (UDAs):
        • Filter based on custom-defined fields like risk tiers, regional indicators, etc.
  • Column Customization (Right Sidebar): Show or hide columns using the column selector on the right panel.
  • Export & Search:
    • Use the download icon to export the WarRoom summary to Excel
    • Use the search bar to quickly locate columns and toggle their visibility
  • Configure Your Category Preferences: Click this option at the top-right of the table to go to the Personal Preference and Notifications settings, where you can control grouping, sorting, and visibility of categories across pages.
