When does the supplier part description display "Auto generated by Resilinc during Partner Part number creation," and why do these parts have no category?

To map a customer product to a partner site, the product is converted into parts, which are then mapped to the respective sites.
These parts are generated automatically by Resilinc and therefore have description as 'Auto generated by Resilinc during partner part number creation'.
In this case you will see the CPN (Customer Part Number) and Tier 1 Partner Part Number appearing as same.
The categorization typically applies to Parts in their standard form whereas products are treated as homogeneous components and are not classified under specific categories.
Since they are Products that are represented as parts, they do not have a category.
