- A super user or company admin gets the relevant licenses to access the ‘Load data’ module in the navigation panel or main menu. ‘User defined attributes’ is one of the sub-options.
- User Defined Attributes is a table, which lists all the suppliers and their sites loaded in the Resilinc portal. (This is the dedicated section in the portal to add/create UDAs at supplier/site level.
3. The above highlighted icons signify ‘Import’ and ‘Export’ respectively. User can ‘Export’ the UDA grid in an excel template (.xlsx format) as shown in the below image. The sheet will download both the lists, i.e., Suppliers and Sites in 2 separate spreadsheets.
4. User can add the desired column/s in the exported file. Label the column header/s appropriately as required to be viewed in the portal. In the new column add data against each supplier/site to categorize each of them differently. Save changes and close the file.
5. Upload the saved file to the ‘User defined Attributes’ window by clicking on ‘Import’ icon.
Note: that this operation will reflect only the new changes, every time the file is updated and uploaded to the portal. All the older changes on the grid will be lost.
Also, any new data such as new supplier or site added to the portal needs to be updated manually using the UDA table. UDAs cannot be auto updated. After the ‘Upload status’ shows as ‘Success’, user can refresh the page to see the newly added UDAs at the ‘Suppliers’ or ‘Sites’ tabs. (Below screenshot for reference). Thus, company admin can easily create multiple User Defined Attributes in the system by following the above defined steps 1-6.
