Can a customer use their own SSH key for SFTP access and encryption?

  • Yes, customers can choose to use their own SSH key pair to secure SFTP access. In such cases, the customer generates the key pair, shares the public key with Resilinc, and retains the private key. Resilinc configures the server to accept the public key for secure authentication.
  • Note: This SSH key setup applies to connection security, and is separate from file-level encryption like PGP
