Why does the “Read More” link in the WarRoom notification email redirect to the Home page instead of opening the news article?

One common reason for this behavior is related to user access permissions. The “Read More” link in WarRoom notification emails requires access to the NEWS dashboard, which is available through the Reports and Dashboards license.

If a user does not have the required permissions enabled, clicking the link will typically redirect them to the Home page instead of the intended news article.
To resolve this issue, users should contact their organization’s appropriate point of contact or administrator to request the necessary permissions for accessing the News dashboard / Reports and Dashboards features. Once the required access is granted, the links in WarRoom notification emails should function as expected.
