- The "Files & Notes" tab is a feature on the WarRoom Details page that allows customer users and suppliers to collaborate by adding notes and file attachments related to a specific disruption event. This tab ensures all supporting documentation and context for a WarRoom are centrally available and traceable.
- Navigating to the Files & Notes tab : You can access the "Files & Notes" tab through the following ways:
- By clicking the "Attachments" link shown on the Overview or Impact Details tab in the WarRoom.
- By clicking the "Files Attached" hyperlink in the Impact Confirmation email, which will take you directly to this tab when a supplier responds with attachments.
- Components of the Files & Notes Tab : The tab is divided into the following sections:
- Notes :
- Add contextual notes related to the WarRoom.
- Users can add, edit, or delete only their own notes.
- Notes are displayed with the author's name, local time, and date.
- Notes have a 500-character limit but there is no restriction on the number of notes that can be added.
- View notes in full-screen thread mode for better readability.
- Customer Attachments (e.g., Sterling Cooper Attachments) :
- Upload reports or documents relevant to the WarRoom.
- Click "Add New File" to upload documents. You can:
Upload multiple files (up to 30 MB per file, and 50 files total per customer organization).
Add file name (required), comments (optional), and tag relevant suppliers (optional).
Supported file types: .csv, .png, .jpg, .pdf, .docx.
- Each attachment entry shows:
- File name
- Added date
- Uploaded by (user)
- Tagged supplier (if any)
- Comments (editable by the uploader)
- Actions: Download or Delete files (users can delete any file, with confirmation).
- Attachments by Suppliers:
- Displays files uploaded by suppliers while responding to this WarRoom’s impact request.
- Read-only: Customer users can download but not delete or edit.
- Shows file details like name, uploader, and supplier organization.
- Pagination allows viewing 5 or 10 rows per page.
- Resilinc Special Reports:
- Contains any reports or documents uploaded by Resilinc analysts during WarRoom creation.
- Attachments Activity:
- Logs all actions related to file uploads and deletions:
- Supplier uploads
- Customer uploads
- Resilinc analyst uploads
- Deletions (shows filename and user who deleted it)
- Also reflects in the Overview tab for visibility.
- Does not log notes activity.
- Logs all actions related to file uploads and deletions:
- Event Updates:
- Displays event-related updates made by Resilinc analysts.
- Includes "Read More" link to view detailed news or event history.

- Supplier List View: A new column named "Attachments" shows the count of files added by supplier and customer users (if supplier is tagged).
- WarRoom List View: Columns like Overview, WarRoom Summary, and Response Summary now include an "Attachments" column.
- Notifications: Users get notified (via the bell icon and email) whenever:
- A customer uploads an attachment
- A supplier uploads a response-related attachment
- Additional Info for Suppliers:
- Supplier users can upload attachments while responding to impact confirmation requests (both "Impacted" and "Not Impacted" responses). These uploads happen during Step 4 of the response flow, with options to:
- View previous attachments submitted by other supplier users.
- Upload multiple files and tag relevant customers.
- The number of files added per customer is displayed in the "Files Attached" column of Step 4 and is also visible to customer users via the "Files & Notes" tab.
- Supplier users can upload attachments while responding to impact confirmation requests (both "Impacted" and "Not Impacted" responses). These uploads happen during Step 4 of the response flow, with options to:
