- Customers have an ability to provide Supplier category (Tab 1 of CDIF) as well as Part Category (Tab 2 of CDIF).
- Risk scores at Category level can get calculated from both Supplier as well as Part level. This needs to be decided by customer.
- This can be achieved using category risk scroll rollup method present in the risk setting page named as “Category Risk Score rollup from” with toggle button for Parts and Partner.
- The Category dashboard will list all the part categories and the supplier categories will be available on the filter option from the left navigation under the UDA's section. The customer can choose the right risk rollup method whether they should be considering the supplier category or part category. The default selection for this will be Parts roll up.
- The Category risk rollup method is used to identify what should be the primary criteria for rolling up risk score at category level i.e. Part category or Supplier category.
- If its set to Parts, then the Part will consider the Maximum or Average of a group of Company parts in the same category and roll it up to the category risk score. Similarly if its set to Partner, then Partner will take the Maximum or Average of a group of suppliers who provide the same category and roll it up to the category risk score.
