Is it possible to maintain multiple contact persons for suppliers via CDIF?

  • Yes, it is possible to maintain multiple contact persons for suppliers through the CDIF.
  • There are three types of supplier contacts customer can provide through CDIF:
  • Point of Contact (Columns F-G in the Supplier Tab of CDIF): These contacts are provided for launching assessments. They will not be contacted for event impact confirmation.
  • Emergency Contact (Columns S-T in the Supplier Tab of CDIF): These contacts are provided to receive the supplier impact confirmation request. They will receive the impact confirmation request regardless of the site location.
  • Site Emergency Contact (Columns P-Q in the Site-List Tab of CDIF): These contacts are provided to receive the supplier impact confirmation request specifically for their respective site location, but only if their site is impacted in an event.
  • For all the above-mentioned contact types, multiple supplier contacts can be provided through the CDIF. All of them will receive the impact confirmation request if listed as either Supplier Emergency or Site Emergency contacts.
