- Once customers select the correct file and appropriate Data Load Type for the CDIF upload (with the “Cancel Upload if Errors Detected” option turned off), the system will validate the data for completeness and correctness. This process will still load the error free data into the system leaving back the erroneous data. Customer can choose to correct the error data and reload the CDIF.
- If the “Cancel Upload if Errors Detected” option is turned on, the data load operation will stop after the validation step if any errors are found. Users will need to fix the errors before proceeding. If no errors are found, the load will proceed as planned.
- If Validation Errors, Normalization Errors, or Data Errors are found in the uploaded file, the respective errors and the total count will be displayed next to the status. The system will also highlight the tabs containing errors and provide the total count, making it easier to locate and resolve the issues.
How to fix the errors for both cases(Case A & Case B):
- Access the Validation Report: Open the validation report if any errors are found.
- Navigate to the Tabs: In the report, go directly to the affected tabs on the Data Load page to correct the errors.
- Correct the Errors: After addressing the errors in each tab, upload the corrected file back into the system.
Warnings:
Customers may also encounter warnings in the validation report. These warnings indicate non-standard data patterns identified by the system. These patterns do not need to be fixed, as the system will handle them and proceed with the data load.
