Can I add additional custom criteria, attributes, or classification for my suppliers?

  • Yes, in addition to supplier categories and external ids, customer can add as many numbers of custom classification or criteria that they have. These criteria could just be additional information such as customer can define their business units, regional dependency, supplier secondary names, etc.

  • Once CDIF is loaded customer can choose to add as many classifications as possible. To do this you need access UDA page through left Side Hamburger Menu (Three Horizontal lines) -> Load Data -> User Defined Attributes.

  • The UDA can be added at both supplier and site level and so two separate tabs are provided for the same. The UDA page will consist of all the suppliers and sites from the org.

  • If user want to add UDA values at supplier level, click on Suppliers tab and click on Export button post which user will receive excel file with all the suppliers listed in it.

  • User need to add UDA headers and its value in columns of this file.

  • Once done, user needs to click on import button and browse the file to upload it in the system. Once the file is imported successfully the upload status on the page will be set from Uploading to Success.
