- Sometimes, attempting to validate a Pending Sub-tier Supplier Part in the Sub-tier Supplier Parts tab of the SCV assessment fails by immediately changing the ‘action’ column back to Pending:
- If this occurs, navigate back to the Sub-tier Suppliers tab and ensure the Sub-tier Supplier in question is validated first.
- It may be possible that a Sub-tier Supplier has been reverted to Pending after being previously validated. This can occur because details about the Sub-tier Supplier have been edited, deleted, or because another Respondent has marked a previously-validated Sub-tier Supplier as Pending once more:
- Note that this issue can also occur after Sub-tier Supplier Parts from the Sub-tier Supplier have been validated. Previously-validated Sub-tier Supplier Parts will not revert to Pending even if the Sub-tier Supplier is reverted.
- If new Sub-tier Supplier Parts display the issue, try switching an already-validated one to Pending and back. If it also gets stuck on Pending, the Sub-tier Supplier is not currently valid.
