What happens if new sites or suppliers are added in an update to a WarRoom that has already been closed? Will the WarRoom reopen, send new impact confirmations, or trigger email notifications?

  • If a closed WarRoom receives an update that includes new regions, sites, or suppliers, the system behaviour depends on the nature of the update:
    • Event status change: If the update adds new sites or regions for the respective customer, the WarRoom status automatically changes to “New.”
    • Impact confirmations: If suppliers were previously asked to confirm impact before the WarRoom was closed, no new impact confirmation requests will be sent to them again. However, impact confirmation requests will be sent to any newly added suppliers or sites included in the update.
    • Email notifications: If Resilinc adds new suppliers or sites to a closed WarRoom, email notifications are sent to the customer based on their personal notification settings.
