If a customer’s SSO certificate is about to expire, what is the process to update the certificate?

  • As per the standard SSO certificate update process, the customer must first share the updated certificate or XML metadata file with the Resilinc team.
  • Once the certificate or metadata file is received, the Resilinc Engineering team will configure the updated certificate on our end.
  • After configuration, the Engineering team will notify the customer so they can complete the necessary updates on their side. The team will also share the estimated timeline (ETA) after reviewing the new certificate.
  • Important: If dual certificate support is not available on the customer’s side, the customer must inform Resilinc before the current certificate expires.
  • Please note that during the certificate update process, users may temporarily experience portal login issues.
  • Note: This activity cannot be performed over a call, as it requires QA validation and backend configuration before deploying the changes to the production environment.
