What are the key benefits of using Dataflow Integration over the older data load methods?

Dataflow Integration offers several important advantages over the previous methods (CDIF manual upload and DLA):

  • Faster data ingestion: DFI supports near real-time, continuous data loading, significantly faster than manual batch uploads.
  • Elimination of manual work: No need to manually clean, format, or populate an Excel template before uploading. Automated transformations handle data formatting (for example, converting your internal risk scoring scale to Resilinc's standard 1-10 scale) without any manual effort.
  • No Excel-based mapping files: Unlike DLA, which required a separate mapping file to be created and maintained in Excel, DFI's mapping is configured and stored directly within the platform interface.
  • Consistency and scalability: The Databricks Medallion architecture ensures consistent, reliable processing even for large, complex, or frequently updated data sets.
  • True self-service after setup: Once your field mapping is marked as "Finalized," your team can run future data loads independently by simply placing files in the SFTP folder, without any involvement from your Resilinc contact.
