Why do I still see old data(supplier/part/product/site) that was removed from the latest uploaded CDIF?

This may be due to one of the following reasons:

  • Incomplete Deletion: To fully remove the specific data from the portal, they must be deleted from all related tabs of CDIF. Removing it just from the only one tab of CDIF doesn’t ensure complete deletion of that data from the system.
  • Upload Errors: If you uploaded a CDIF in 'Delete and Load' mode but encountered errors on any tab, that tab will be processed in 'Append' mode. This means historical data for that tab will not be deleted, which may explain why the old data is still visible on the portal.

To address this issue:

  • In your next CDIF upload, ensure that unwanted data (supplier/part/product/site) is removed from all respective tabs.
  • It’s crucial to correct any errors to ensure a clean upload. Once the errors are fixed, the CDIF will be uploaded correctly, and any data removed from the CDIF will be appropriately deleted from the portal.
