What are the two SFTP folder types in Dataflow Integration, and when should I use each one?

Within your "dataflow_integration" folder on the SFTP, you will find two sub-folders:
- delete_and_load: Use this folder when you want to fully replace your existing data with a new, complete set of files. When a load is processed from this folder, the system removes the previously loaded records for the affected data categories and replaces them entirely with the new data. This is best suited for full data refreshes or when significant changes have been made across many records.
- append: Use this folder when you want to add new records to the data already in your portal, without removing any existing records. This is ideal for incremental updates, such as adding newly onboarded suppliers, new parts, or new site locations.
You can place files in one or both folders during the same import run. During the import wizard (Step 2 - Upload Details), the platform will display how many files it has detected in each folder, allowing you to verify before proceeding.
