- DFI accepts source files in the following formats:
- Excel: .xlsx
- CSV: .csv with UTF-8 encoding
- The files should contain your supply chain data organized in clearly labeled column headers, as this directly impacts how accurately the AI Field Mapping tool can map your data to Resilinc's schema.
- Your Resilinc contact will share a data prescription worksheet at the start of your project, which outlines the required and optional fields for each data category (such as Suppliers, Sites, Parts, Products, Supply Mapping, BOM, Multi-Tier Sourcing, etc.). Following the prescribed format helps ensure smooth mapping and fewer validation errors.
- Best practice: Keep your source file names and column structures consistent across all future uploads. This ensures that the same field mapping applies every time, requiring no changes once the mapping has been finalized.
