If a supplier appears as a sub-tier in Tab 10 or Tab 1 and also in Tab 2 or Tab 8, is this supplier treated as Tier 1 by the system?

Yes, if the sub-tier supplier’s entry is present in Tab 2 (Part Sourcing) or Tab 8 (Part-Site Mapping), a Tier 1 entry will be created for that sub-tier supplier.
This is because Tab 2 and Tab 8 are specifically designed for Tier 1 data.
Therefore, if you want to load a supplier at the sub-tier level only, ensure that the entry for that supplier is not included in Tab 2 (Part Sourcing) or Tab 8 (Part-Site Mapping).
